Two games we are excited for at the end of the month

What's up guys? It has been a while since this sad blog has posted anything new, but what better way to get back on the road than with the release of Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Soul Calibur 5!

Those who played Final Fantasy XIII were not very pleased with the way the series was heading, but this sequel is sure to redeem itself. XIII-2 will cover a new and improved ATB system which provides faster gameplay, as well as cinematic quicktimes, and the ability to capture creatures for use in battle (pokemon much?). Don't Believe me? Well, you can always check out the demo and see for yourself. So look for the demo on PSN and Xbox Live.

Now onto the sword slashing, back stabbing fighter, Soul Calibur 5. The newest installment to the series is heading to shelves on the same day as XII-2 on January 31st.  This sequel is going to pack a total of 26 characters, with 9 new characters and 1 guest star. This year's guest star is none other than Ezio Auditore from Assassin Creed 2 through revelations. Although Namco has not yet released a demo in NA, we can assure that Soul Calibur will be a good addition for arcade gamers.
